Eligibility:
- Psychologists, Psychiatrists, General Practitioners, Clinical Social Workers & Mental Health Occupational Therapists who have attended both days of our Level 1 training.
- At present, the only accepted alternative training to Level 1 of the SA DBT Institute is Marsha Linehan's Behavioural Tech training.
This comprehensive training package is a 12-month program developed for mental health professionals looking to implement a range of DBT strategies in their current practice and includes:
- 8 days of training
- 4 peer supervision sessions
- Training provided by internationally trained faculty
- Credentialing of Clinicians in DBT
- Phase 1: Foundations, Skills Training & Practice Essentials (6 months)
- Phase 2: Implementing Standard DBT (6 months)
- Phase 3: Review, Extension & Credentialing Component (final 2 days)
